Reservationist
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle telephone calls and respond to booking enquiries across various platforms.
• Process reservations on the computer system.
• Prepare and forward quotations and booking information as required.
• Follow up on deposits and outstanding payments.
• Liaise with relevant departments regarding booking confirmations, amendments, and cancellations.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
• Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Minimum of three years’ administrative and reservationist experience.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft applications (MS Word, Outlook, etc.).
• PPRA NQF 4 qualification or currently working towards this qualification.
• Prior experience with a reservations system will be advantageous.
• Excellent telephone etiquette, interpersonal skills, and decision-making ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, with strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and tolerate stress.
• High level of integrity.
Other Requirements:
• Presentable, approachable, and confident in dealing with visitors and guests.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (preferred).
• Willingness to work some weekends and public holidays.
• Own reliable transport to and from work.
